FMI E BIS, ARTICULAÇÃO INTRA-INSTITUCIONALNO SISTEMA FINANCEIRO INTERNACIONAL

Resumo

O Sistema Financeiro Internacional encontra-se organizado em três grupos. No primeiro grupo incluem-se os órgãos que exercem as funções de regulação e supervisão. No segundo, temos as que são reguladas e supervisionadas pelas primeiras. No terceiro, encontramos as organizações que não seguem tais regras ou supervisão, formando o chamado Shadow Banking System. Este artigo procura examinar o primeiro grupo, o dos órgãos reguladores e, mais especificamente, como se dá a articulação entre o Fundo Monetário Internacional, e o Banco de Compensações Internacionais.

ABSTRACT: The International Financial System could be organized into three groups. According to this classification, the first group includes the organizations that exercise the functions of regulation and supervision. In the second, we have those that are regulated and supervised by the former, and in the third, we find the organizations that do not follow such rules or supervision, forming the so-called Shadow Banking System. This article seeks to examine the first group, and, more specifically, how the International Monetary Fund articulates with the Bank of International Settlements.
