O PODER AEROESPACIAL RUSSO NAS ESTRATÉGIAS AÉREAS COERCITIVAS DA GUERRA DA UCRÂNIA, ENTRE FEVEREIRO E OUTUBRO DE 2022
Resumo
Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar como o Poder Aeroespacial russo foi empregado nas estratégias aéreas coercitivas, durante a Guerra da Ucrânia, entre os meses de fevereiro e outubro de 2022. O referencial teórico foi a obra BombingtoWin: Air Power andCoercion in War (Bombardeando para vencer: Poder Aéreo e coerção na guerra) de Robert Pape. Como resultado da investigação foi observado incialmente o emprego do Poder Aeroespacial russo em operações aéreas coercitivas de bombardeio estratégico contra alvos ucranianos buscando alcançar a Superioridade Aérea. Logo após identificou-se o emprego do Poder Aeroespacial russo em consonância com a estratégia aérea coercitiva da negação, através operações aéreas coercitivas de interdição estratégica e de apoio direto às forças terrestres, contra as tropas ucranianas. Finalmente foi possível identificar uma mudança para a estratégia aérea coercitiva da punição através de operações aéreas coercitivas de bombardeio estratégico contra alvos que impactavam diretamente a população civil ucraniana.

ABSTRACT: This research had the objective of analyzing how Russian Aerospace Power was used in coercive air strategies, during the Ukrainian War, between the months of February and October 2022. The theoretical reference was the work Bombing to Win: Air Power and Coercion in War by Robert Pape. As a result of the investigation, it was initially observed the use of Russian Aerospace Power in coercive aerial strategic bombing operations against Ukrainian targets seeking to achieve Air Superiority. Soon after, the use of Russian Aerospace Power was identified in line with the coercive air strategy of denial, through coercive air operations of strategic interdiction and direct support to ground forces, against Ukrainian troops. It was finally possible to identify a shift to the coercive aerial strategy of punishment through coercive aerial strategic bombing operations against targets that directly impacted the Ukrainian civilian population.
